Who would have thought the giant rats would become popular on birthday, Valentine’s Day, and Easter greetings and decor? But their allure comes from their cute and comical appearance and behaviors. They are adorable and quirky, and have an uncanny their ability to remain unbothered in unusual situations, such as when a bird perches on their head.
The capybara craze reached massive traction when a Russian artist’s song, titled “Capybara,” went viral on TikTok.
I created these icons with stickers in mind, but can totally see them on children’s Valentine exchange cards, temporary tattoos, or mugs with appropriate, punny captions.
