Collegiate Project (in 2006) which challenged us to create icons created for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China. My icons received department-wide recognition: through research of the country of China, color palettes, and their written language, I came up with these very simple and clear icons to illustrate the individual games. What I found to be amazing, is the actual icons that were adapted for the games followed my same inspiration of their written language!
